SUMMER WORKSHOP
San Diego Yearbooks Summer Workshop is a three-day experience filled with learning and fun for advisers, staff, editors, and photographers of all skill levels. Instruction is led by a team of Walsworth Creative Consultants and educators, covering beginning and advanced design, writing, photojournalism, and editorial leadership. You will gain the skills, confidence, and direction needed to jump-start the year and begin the season strong.

LOCK IN LAB | WINTER WORKSHOP
Lock-In Lab is a two-day, hands-on workshop inspired by Walsworth Yearbooks’ Elite Weekend. Led by Walsworth Creative Consultants Andrew Young and Jim McCrossen, the workshop is designed to help advisers and staffs elevate their yearbook by refining design and making small, intentional tweaks that will have a big impact. The focus is on creating strong design flow throughout the entire book, from the cover and title page to section dividers and beyond. Students receive live, personalized feedback while working directly on their pages, with plenty of snacks and food throughout the workshop to keep you energized.

SPOOKTACULAR | FALL WORKSHOP
Spooktacular is a fall yearbook workshop hosted at Dave & Buster’s that mixes learning with fun. The workshop will be taught by Walsworth Creative Consultant Kathy Beers, who will cover new design trends, ways to spice up headlines, showstopper spreads, and how to keep your theme going throughout the entire book, not just the cover and endsheets.
Plus, there will be time for games during lunch because even the hardest-working yearbook staffs deserve a fun break.
